The Entertainer Toy Shop is heading to Tesco Extra in Ryde as part of a new partnership between the 2 brands. Over the past 18 months, a trial has been running in 35 stores across the country – which has been deemed a success. Now, the decision has been taken to roll out The Entertainer in all stores, which includes Ryde. Tesco customers will be able to shop a range of much-loved brands such as Barbie, Nerf, Paw Patrol and L.O.L., as well as Addo and Early Learning Centre. But toys such as Pokemon are out. Although the toy aisle will now be branded up as The Entertainer, customers will still be able to earn Clubcard points and benefit from special Clubcard promotions. Jan Marchant, managing director of Home and Clothing at Tesco, has said:
“We’re really excited to be bringing The Entertainer to Tesco stores across the UK & ROI. Our initial trial was really popular with customers and we look forward to introducing even more customers to the great range of toys from The Entertainer – making it easier for customers to pick up a gift for their little ones in store.”

Wtf, no Pokemon? That seems very anti animal-abuse
The most expensive shop by far for toys. Tesco making another big mistake.
i saw a video o 4chan the other day of this woman dying of cancer…
Another boarded up shop in Newport soon
The Entertainer is a great company to work for. It has great ethics and treats its staff better than its competitors. I’m wondering whether the staff to be employed will be under a contract with Tesco, or The Entertainer.
More plastic junk from China, to be played with once or twice, to end up in Landfill within the year.
News for you.
About 90% of the consumer goods you have bought in the last 10 years are either manufactured in China or contain components made in China.
And, generally, they are very reliable. MG offer a 7 year warranty compared to the 3 years offered by the likes of BMW and Ford.
Time for you to toodle off to the tip, I think.
How are they going to handle Tesco selling their products on a Sunday, given their devout religious beliefs?
