The Isle of Wight’s award-winning Halloween event, Terror Island, made its dramatic return with an exclusive Blue Light Night last Friday (6th October), celebrating the Island’s local heroes.
With a turnout of over 700 dedicated Emergency Service and NHS staff, the evening was a huge success, delivering an unforgettable night of pulse-quickening scare mazes, exhilarating rides, live entertainment, and an atmosphere filled with gratitude and camaraderie.
As well as rave reviews from Islanders, it’s been a hit with critics too, with theme park bloggers Thrill Nation scoring it 80% for atmosphere, 75% for entertainment, and 95% for value for money.
Their write-up said:
“Ultimately, Terror Island provided so much WOW factor during our night at the event. The mazes were of such high quality and provided endless screams and haunting moments, and even when we left the attractions, we were kept busy with all the other entertainment they had on offer. We really must applaud the team for putting on such a good event.”
Terror Island is gearing up to open its doors for its full run on the 27th, 28th, and 29th of October, as well as on the 3rd and 4th of November.
Tickets are available in 2 options: the Terror Ticket, which includes entry to the live action scare mazes, and the Street Pass, which allows guests to enjoy the site and all its offerings without entering the mazes.
