Spice girl Geri Halliwell-Horner has revealed that one of her favourite places in nature is Priory Bay here on the Isle of Wight.
WWF ambassadors and supporters have come together and revealed their daily doses of nature as part of the charity’s ‘Nature Restores Us’ portrait series.
Geri’s photo (above) was taken as she jumped through the waves at Priory Bay. The 52-year-old says that a dip in the sea is the ‘ultimate reset’ for her.
The area between Seaview and St Helens is a WWF seagrass restoration site.
Geri has said:
“Nature has such a restorative power and getting outside for just 20 minutes can make the world of difference to how you feel, both physically and mentally.
“For me, a dip in the sea is the ultimate reset, especially if it’s cold! It makes me feel alive and strong – and at the same time calm and at peace.Taking a walk next to the water or in nature has that same incredible positive effect on my wellbeing.
“I’m excited to be working with WWF on this campaign, I encourage everyone to find their own daily dose of nature.”
Other celebrities taking part include Andy Murray, Ellie Goulding and Joe Wicks.
It’s unknown if Geri and her F1 team boss husband, Christain, have a local residence.
