West Wight Alpacas are today mourning the loss of a much-loved animal, who was sadly put to sleep today (Tuesday).
Staff at the Wellow-based sanctuary found ‘Loveridge’ with a badly broken leg this morning, but despite calling a local vet as soon as possible, the vet said there was nothing that he could do to save Loveridge and the decision was made to put the male alpaca to sleep.
A spokesperson for WWA said that he will be missed by all.
