Shanklin’s Rylstone Bandstand will officially open for the Summer season on Sunday 17th May, with a packed line-up of live music featuring both Isle of Wight and mainland bands.
The popular Shanklin venue will kick off its 2026 programme with Shanklin Town Brass Band performing from 15:00.
A series of Sunday afternoon concerts will follow, including Cowes Concert Band on Sunday 24th May at 15:00, before Shanklin Town Brass Band returns on Sunday 31st May, also at 15:00.
From June onwards, visitors can enjoy an expanded schedule of performances, with concerts taking place Monday through Thursday evenings at 20:00, alongside regular Sunday afternoon shows and occasional Saturday events.
Organisers are encouraging residents and visitors alike to support the long-standing venue and its performers throughout the season.
A spokesperson has said:
“Rylstone Bandstand is a great place to relax and listening to local live music for very little cost.
“They supply chairs for a small fee and there is even refreshments and snacks. I love coming down with my family and watching all the bands.”
The seasonal reopening marks another year of community-focused entertainment, helping to keep live music thriving on the Isle of Wight.
