The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) has been scrambled to a rural medical emergency near Chillerton this afternoon (Saturday).
Having been tasked at around 15:00, the helicopter made its way South from its Thruxton base.
Resources on land – including an Operational Commander – met flying medics at an address on Roslin Lane, a narrow single-track road off Rill Lane.
It is unclear as to what exactly prompted the emergency response.
UPDATE @ 16:10 – After around 45 minutes on the ground, the helicopter has lifted off.
