In a recording discovered by legendary TV presenter Fred Dinenage, the croaky but immediately recognisable voice of former London crime king Ronnie Kray delivers a chilling message for children of today who may be considering a life of crime. The recordings were kept by accident on an old tape inside the original Dictaphone Fred used to record his meetings with Ronnie at Broadmoor Hospital for the insane while compiling their official biography as personally authorised by the twins. Fred visited the Island back in October 2023 to tell his story in an event hosted by Alex Dyke at Shanklin Theatre.
