The Isle of Wight Council is conducting a statutory review of the Polling Districts and Polling Places within the constituency of the Isle of Wight.
In accordance with the Representation of the People Act 1983, a review must be carried out every 5 years, and any alterations will become effective from 1st February 2024, ahead of the Police and Crime Commissioner elections that will be held in May.
The formal Notice of Review, which invites comments and suggestions on any changes to the structure of Polling Districts and Polling Places is available at https://www.iow.gov.uk/council-and-councillors/elections/elections-management/polling-districts-and-places-review-2023/. A copy of the current structure of Polling Districts and Places is also available.

All comments or representations should be received by 10th November 2023.
This review can only consider Polling Districts and Places; the names and boundaries of electoral areas, such as parish council boundaries & wards, and Isle of Wight Council electoral divisions are not included in the scope of the review.
Council waisting more of tax payers money,most people don’t bother to vote anymore and some have no ID , not all drive or have passport and effort needed for something else.
