Firefighters from Shanklin and Ventnor were mobilised to a fire on a remote section of clifftop in Ventnor yesterday (Easter Monday).
1 appliance was mobilised to the reported fire in the open at 13:14, with another appliance soon requested due to the remote location of the incident.
With additional manpower and hoses on scene, crews successfully tackled the 20m x 5m fire with a hose reel jet.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service stood down at 14:23.
