Police on the Isle of Wight are searching for 29-year-old Conor Fogarty, who is wanted in connection with an assault which took place in Sandown- but the public are being told not to approach him.
Police were called at 22:21 on Tuesday 29th June to the Fairway Holiday Park following reports of a fight between a group of men.
During the incident, a 22-year-old man was knocked unconscious. A 24-year-old man was also allegedly assaulted, which resulted in a 25-year-old from Newchurch being arrested – and since bailed – on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Officers want to speak to Connor Fogarty about this incident and have been making a number of enquiries to locate him.
Hampshire Constabulary is now asking for the public’s support in locating him and to report any sightings to police. Conor is said to have links to the Portsmouth area so readers on both sides of the Solent should keep a sharp eye out.
If you have seen him, do not approach him. Instead, call 101 and quote 44210256385. Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111, or via their anonymous online form at crimestoppers-uk.org
Police are reminding people that anyone found to be harbouring him to deliberately obstruct attempts to locate him may be committing an offence and be liable for arrest themselves.

Let’s hope he’s hopped on the hover and left the island. Bye, bye, we don’t need you and your aggressive self here.
Do you actually know him
He’s been in prison several times, this is not a first offence for him
The people on here probably don’t know him personally at all, I worked with con and he’s one of the nicest lads I’ve met. Honest and a proper guy. Easy to slag someone off over a keyboard. Get to know a person properly before you judge.
Look out for piggy little eyes and a forehead the size of Mars. Got it.
And a brain the size of a peanut
That describes you two down to a tee
By time you through on 101, explained you’re personal info and why you are calling police today he would be long gone. If police want public to call why do they then put you off when calling ?.
Often it a recorded message saying go on www. Web site
I hope you have all committed that 11 digit number to memory in case you see him and need to call 101.
Why didn’t they lock him up when they took his picture?
It was a photo taken from a previous sentence
All these comments, you all don’t know if he’s guilty yet? Judgemental idiots…..!
