Those involved in a 2 car crash on the outskirts of Wootton late last night (Thursday) have avoided injury.
Police were called to the incident on Lushington Hill at around 23:50 to reports of a collision involving a Kia Picanto and a Ford Fiesta.
The Picanto sustained damage to the rear whilst the Fiesta had front-end damage and ended up in the hedge on the side of the road leading into Wootton.
No injuries were reported and the incident was cleared in a timely manner.

*You’re. If you’re going to be a prolific commenter, at least check your grammar. Honestly, what would the good people of the honourable Burley think?!
At least we don’t constantly drive into pore defenceles little ponys and donkeys whilst speeding on a daily basis imo.
more very good driving on the island
Another Vaccident???
I think it’s terrible.
Swerved trying to avoid a cat obviously. Cats are a menace on island roads. They should probably be culled or deported to Rwanda.
Like Bob One says more brilliant drivers… I agree.. there are so many stupid drivers out there.
Due care and attention lacking over here I’m afraid people just need to take care of others not just there self
I think it it’s a shame that some of the thick morons driving on our roads ( and off them ) are clever enough to wear a seat belt ….
No injuries, no mention of lacking tax, insurance or MOT, no mention of drink or dugs, so why does a bump between 2 vehicles need police involvement? And, why is a minor two car collision even thought worthy of being reported as ‘news’ in a local paper?
Surely, ‘news’ is something special, something different, something newsworthy not something which happens thousands of time a day all over the UK?
I’d love a comment from James Rann, the reporter, as to where he thinks the ‘news’ element is in a story like this?
raceing drink ? twats
