Local youngsters aged between 13 and 16 are being invited to join the Isle of Wight Police Cadets Unit.
The Volunteer Police Cadets meet in Newport every Wednesday evening during school term time, between the hours of 18:30-20:30.
Cadets are provided with the opportunity to learn about the Police, develop new skills and experience, perform public-facing duties within the community and volunteer in exciting policing initiatives. It is free to attend.
Sessions will begin again in September so those interested are urged to express an interest at the earliest opportunity by emailing their name, age and school/college to [email protected].
