The Falconry Experience will look to complete a relocation to an exciting new venue for the 2025 season. Sam White and Charlotte Bell who run the falconry experience have said:
“This is the end of an era for Haven falconry, we are very much looking forward to exciting times ahead for The Falconry Experience and to continue our work, promoting and supporting birds of prey conservation efforts. “We would like to thank Havenstreet and our visitors over the years for their highly-valued support during the Haven falconry era “
The Falconry Experience centre, home to a large collection of owls, hawks, falcons, eagles and vultures, is a must-visit for anyone with a passion for birds of prey. On-site, the experienced falconry team care for and fly birds of prey, with the focus of their ethos being education through fun. The team are renowned for the quality of their interactive flying displays, which take place daily on the green at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway at 11:40 and 13:40 (Weather permitting)

Well worth a visit beautiful birds, my favourite last year was the baby owl, who was not very co operative and the vulture, who seemed to be going around nicking food.
Please visit them.
Any Harris Hawks around.Lovely critters.A hobby i’d love to pursue if l had the means.
I hope those unfortunately ill treated falcons and hawks (seagull-chasers) at Lymbottom are being looked after well.I heard they were being neglected badly some time ago by a falconer who ‘lost interest’ ?
