Busy Bee Garden Centre has been announced as the winner of the GTN’s Greatest Christmas Garden Centre Team after receiving the most customer votes. In the final week of voting before the competition ended just before Christmas, Busy Bee was sitting in 2nd place behind Cooks of Stourport (2nd place), just overtaking Bosworths Latimer (3rd place). Over 330 garden centre names were entered with the results were announced at the Spring Fair – the garden centre industry’s biggest trade show hosted in Birmingham earlier this month (5th February). The Brading Road-based business has received national recognition in the past. Last year the business’ restaurant was named as the best garden centre restaurant south of the Thames. A spokesperson from Busy Bee has said:
“This time with our amazing customer support, we have been voted as the Best Christmas Garden Centre Team across the whole of the United Kingdom. “A big thank you to all our lovely staff for their hard work and dedication and thank you to our wonderful customers without whose vote and support we could not have achieved this.”
