Several postcodes in the Ryde area are without power this evening (Friday).
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks say that a fault was reported with the electricity supply at 20:51 and an engineer is expected to begin assessing the failure shortly.
Power is expected to be restored to residents by midnight.
UPDATE @ 23:55 – Despite earlier expectations for power to be restored to all properties in the affected areas by midnight this evening, SSEN now expects some residents to be without electricity until 03:30 tomorrow (Saturday).
