As the doors close to the public for the winter, Haven Falconry opens its ‘mews’ to more exciting new species of magnificent raptors.
Continuing its work in conservation and education, Haven Falconry is delighted to announce the arrival of yet more magnificent birds of prey into its expanding and exciting team.
As passionate falconers, the team at Haven Falconry – based in Havenstreet – are keen to expand the range of birds that they can include in their entertaining and educational flying demonstrations and birds of prey experience days and extend their work in breeding for conservation.
Charlotte Gladdis from Haven falconry has said:
“As we close our doors to public displays our winter work with the new additions that will join our team for private birds of prey experience days and public flying demonstrations for 2023 just gets started. Following the arrival of Dylan, our White Tailed Sea Eagle a few months ago, we are very excited to announce the arrival of three more exciting species.
Sam White added:
“While Bald eagles are now safely re-established in the USA following their near extinction only a few decades ago, White Bellied Sea Eagles in Asia are in steep decline and White Backed Vultures in Africa and India are in critical danger of extinction. The extinction of vultures has massive repercussions to the health of the environments they exist in and for the health of the human populations there.

Can’t wait to the first display of 2023, we have seen several displays at events and shows throughout the summer and was very impressed with the team of handlers and the birds in flight, keep up the great work.
