A large police presence in Sandown this evening (Sunday), including officers using a drone, was the result of a search for a missing person, police have confirmed.
At around 23:00 there were reports of a large police presence in Sandown and the sighting of a drone in the sky.
It has since been confirmed by Isle of Wight Police that the search for the missing person is now over – with the individual found safe and well shortly after 23:35.
As a result, the incident is now being scaled back.
Guess that was why all the idiot drivers were in Ryde ….. vroom vrooom listen to my car ( ‘ sorry mate but sounds like exhaust filled with water.. !! ) and also mega loud and bang bang bang as lawnmower engine bikes ( 49cc ) have to be heard… inconsiderate twats… this is the Isle of Wight.. NOT BRANDS HATCH…. Does their insurance company know about modified exhaust… if not then no insurance.. !! Then to top it off some young NCC biker had to make his bike rev high and speed off along the front… what they trying to prove.. how stupid they can be or what ?
