6 streets in Shanklin have been left in darkness this evening (Thursday) following a power cut in the area.
Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) are aware of the fault and engineers are on-site and are due to carry out a repair overnight.
The power cut was reported to SSEN at 21:05 and anticipated that properties will be back on the grid by 05:00 tomorrow morning (Friday).
Park Road, Palmerston Road & Osborne Road are affected.

“We currently have a fault affecting the areas listed.
“Our engineers are on-site working hard to get the power back on as quickly as they can.
