How come some some poor sod gets fined £300 for 41 mph in a 30, plus points on his licence. Yes it was wrong, but the next case a moron beats up an emergency worker and gets find £120. I must be missing something here.
If you work, you get a high fine,
if you are on benefits, you get fined minimal because you pay it at £5 a week from your benefits, however much it is it seems.
Yea but whatever happened to the punishment should fit the crime
Are you sure the emergency worker was beaten, or were they just given a dirty look? Seems both mean the same thing to these snowflake bullies with badges. I don’t hate cops but some are VERY corrupt and there are always two sides
£300 fine for speeding
£120 fine for assaulting an emergency worker ….where is the justice for the emergency worker
come on courts get your act together
You only need to touch an emergency worker (usually a police officer), to get done for assaulting them. I know, it’s just happened to me… found guilty for simply palming her hand away from my face, and then she lied on oath in court, stating that I hit her over the head and trapped her arms in my car window. Plain clothes, no body cam, her word against mine – who do they believe? These police officers are ridiculous jobsworths sometimes all is not what it seems, trust me!
Show the results of random drug tests while on duty. Military only get mandatory random testing not the police, should be the other way around.

I totally agree what’s going on with the courts??
I thought that too, the person speeding was fined far more than the drug driver and all the others!
That’s not right surely?
Have a look at the Sentencing guidelines (publicly available), chances are it wasn’t the first drink drive offence.
The bloke doing 41 in a 30 limit was not over the alcohol limit.
The small fines do not coincide with the reasons.. drink or drug driving should be automatic 10 year ban , with fines in excess of £1,000.00, fining a coke head £120 is just a sniff !! Person could easily sell a couple of wraps to pay that..
It’s no wonder kids nowadays are the way they are if that’s what they have to look up to. they are all old enough to know better!
