A crash involving 2 cars is causing disruption on the main road between Newport and the West Wight this morning (Wednesday).
Police, paramedics and firefighters are on scene on Middle Road at the junctions with Lynch Lane and Elm Lane having been called to the main route between Newport and the West Wight at around 10:45.
At the scene a Citroen C3 and a Honda CRV have collided, both vehicles sustaining minor front end damage.
Middle Road/Newport Road remains open, under direction, with traffic driving around the Citroen which has been left in the road.
Island Echo understand that no injuires have been sustained.
Recovery of the involved vehicles is underway.
