Monday 2nd May – Friday 6th May 2022
• Aiden Bryan James Aisher, 29, of Heathfield Road in Freshwater, admitted breaching the requirements of a community order – namely failing to attend unpaid work. The original order was revoked and resentenced for 12 months with 10 rehabilitation days and 230 hours of unpaid work attached. He was ordered to pay £60 costs.
• Xavier Lutaaya-Malokweza, 41, of Shore Road in Bonchurch, pleaded guilty to speeding. He was handed 3 points, fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £34 surcharge.
• William Medas, 41, of High Street in Shanklin, was found guilty of failure to comply with the notifications requirements of the sex offenders register – namely failing to register a bank card within 3 days. He was handed a 24-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £22 surcharge.
• Andrew John Smith, 61, of Gobles Close in Ryde, pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order. He was made subject to a 12-month community order with 20 rehabilitation days attached. He was also ordered to pay a £95 surcharge.
• Jacob Phillip Evans, 28, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £22 surcharge.
• Kane Richard Hammond, 32, of Pomona Road in Shanklin, pleded guilty to speeding. He was disqualified from driving for 6 months and fined £40. He was ordered to pay £85 costs with a £34 surcharge.
• Matthew Peter Littlechild, 34, of Bellevue Road in Ryde, was fined £120 and handed 8 penalty points for the offensive of driving without due care and attention. The case was proved in his absence. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs with a £34 surcharge.
• Dvaid Williams, 30, of Carisbrooke Road in Newport, pleaded guilty to 2 charges of drug driving (cocaine and cannabis) and 1 charge of driving without insurance. He was banned from driving for 22 months, fined £140 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £34 surcharge.
• Emma James, 37, care of Newport Road in Ventnor, pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
• Andrew Taylor, 41, of Carisbrooke Road in Newport, pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. He was handed a 6-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £22 surcharge.
• Joanna Townley, 31, of Orchard Road in East Cowes, pleaded guilty to drink driving (80) and possession of a Class A drug – cocaine. She was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £416 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £42 surcharge.
• Matthew Lewendon, 50, of Fort Street in Sandown, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class B drug – cannabis. He was fined £80.
• Luke Orton, 25, of Alpine Road in Ventnor, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class A drug – cocaine. He was fined £276 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £34 surcharge.
• Aleasha Kelly, 31, of St Martins Road in Wroxall, was found guilty of obstructing/resisting a constable in the execution of duty. She was fined £120 and ordered to pay costs of £120 with a £34 surcharge.
• Neville Brown, 45, of Linden Road in Newport, pleaded guilty to criminal damage and assault by beating. He was made subject to a 12-month community order with a 6-month alcohol treatment requirement and 25 rehabilitation days. He was also ordered to pay £200 compensation and £85 costs.
• Lorraine Stanley, 53, of Culver Parade in Sandown, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a child under the age of 7, failing to surrender to bail and criminal damage. She was fined £120 and ordered to pay £178 compensation. Stanley was also ordered to pay £40 costs and a £34 surcharge.
• Max Vines, 22, of Sunnyhill Close in Sandown, pleaded guilty to drug driving (cocaine). He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £350 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £35 surcharge.
• Harry Blazeby, 24, of Boldnor Mead in Yarmouth pleaded guilty to drug driving (cannabis). He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £34 surcharge.
• James Davis, 47, of St James’ Street in Newport, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place and using threatening/abusive/insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He was fined £180 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £34 surcharge.
• Natalia Deacon, 30, of Woodside Avenue in Alverstone Garden Village, pleaded guilty to drink driving (85). She was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £300 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £34 surcharge.
• Ian Phillips, 44, of Trinity Road in Ventnor, pleaded guilty to causing brevious bodily harm without intent. He was handed a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to complete 15 rehabilitation days. He was also ordered to pay £750 compensation.
• William Appell, 28, of Highfield Road in Cowes, pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon in a private place – namely a knuckleduster – and possession of a Class B drug – cannabis. He was fined £300 and ordered to pay costs of £85.
• Shane Ely, 33, of Alvington Manor View, Gunville pleaded guilty to 2 charges of assault by beating and 1 of criminal damage. He was made subject to a 12-month community order with a 6-month alcohol treatment requirement, as well as 20 rehabilitation days. Ely was also made subject to a 6-month restraining order and ordered to pay £300 compensation.
