KFC in Newport is to be closed for almost 3 weeks to facilitate a major refurbishment of the popular fast food restaurant.
The store at Furlongs will be closed from Monday 25th April until Saturday 14th May.
When customers return they can expect a more modern style lobby area and there will be a separate entrance and waiting area for delivery drivers.
Newport is undergoing a full refit so the kitchen area will also be stripped out and refurbished with significant equipment upgrades.
During the works, KFC in Lake will be open between 11:00-23:00 every day.
KFC Newport was last refurbished in 2016.
It’s in the wrong place, and they over cook the chicken, it should be golden brown, not dark..I know, I’ve worked in KFC in Christchurch back in the Eighties.
