The Wightlink Junior Raiders ice hockey club are calling for new players aged between 5 and 15.
Between 14:00-16:00 tomorrow (Sunday 6th May) a free session is being run by the club’s coaches to introduce new players to the sport.
Skates and sticks will be provided for use, with anyone interested being invited back for a free weekly training session held on Tuesday evenings from 18:30-19:45.
The introduction day is aimed at children with some skating ability aged between 5 and 15-years-old.
Without an influx of new players the future for junior ice hockey on the Island looks bleak.
