VIDEO: The Fighting Cocks pub near Arreton is now providing a helicopter landing site for those who wish to visit by air.
Landing will be free of charge in the field adjacent to The Fighting Cocks on a PPR basis. This prior permission can be granted either by calling 01983 865254 directly or by using the Android/iOS app ‘Helipaddy’.
The Fighting Cocks has now been in the ownership of Sam and Donna Shaw since early November last year. The business duo have care not to change the winning recipe of the popular watering hole, and both staff and suppliers remain largely unchanged.
The focus remains on producing first class meals using top quality local produce, prepared and served by their young, friendly and enthusiastic team.
Speaking of their new venture to provide a helicopter landing site, Sam said:
