A Police investigation has been launched following the theft of numerous gas bottles from Busy Bee Garden Centre in the early hours of Thursday morning. The male – described on the Busy Bee Facebook page as a ‘reprobate’ – made multiple trips to the popular garden centre between 02:00 and 03:00. Officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary have confirmed that a total of 14 cylinders were taken from the Brading Road premises after access was gained to the barbecue bottle stage. CCTV footage capturing the incident shows the individual pushing a trolley back and forth across the empty car park. A spokesperson from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has said:
“Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact police on 101, quoting 44240048214.”

Just check down Oakfield whose gas bill is much less this qtr, or who has been up Tesco loading up on burgers and no doubt on benefits, free rent, c.tax, various scattered ‘kids’ all state funded too.
Prob is, there is thousands of such to choose from.
Let’s hope it is not a terrorist ploy to blow up something. Ought to have high level Police investigation just in case, but likely just give a ‘crime no.’ and tell BB to ‘claim on insurance’ such is what WE pay for now.
and skin them alive while we’re at it, right?
Glad you’re not in charge of anything important.
I have lived in Oakfield 50 plus years. I have worked
My butt off and do not have the scattered kids you describe. You can stick your moronic generalisation where the sun does not shine. The scum of this world are people like you thinking your Trumpesque opinion is any more valid then a dog breaking wind.
Oh and if you take offense and do not like my comments…job done.
There must be footage of somebody acting strangely during the day checking out what was there.
The trouble is indirectly we will be paying for this in higher prices.
Looks very much like any male from Oakfield or Preston Close, dressed in the usual ‘social housing’ uniform.
Odd to walk your dogs in the dark there, although the footpath skirting the site is a little muddy.
Bet he never ‘picks up’ after them either.
Many Dog walkers only own dogs so they can get up to NO good.
Who said he was walking his dogs?? You know something we don’t??
It’s a trolley not a dog .
I know that… dunno if the other bloke does thou…
I am surprised Busy Bee does not have better fencing in place
It is like Open All Hours
Sadly the Island is not the place it use to be!
Tell me about it Trevor too many old farts is a problem
So it’s an old fart that did it . You will be old one day if you get there.
You Pratt. Why make stupid comments
They must have broke in to the carpark before they went in to busy bee, where were the security alarms or cctv !!!
