Immigration officials and Police visited the British Hand Car Wash on Riverway in Newport today (Wednesday).
It was shortly before 11:00 that the Home Office’s Immigration Enforcement team arrived at the car wash facility with officers from Hampshire Constabulary.
A spokesperson for the Home Office has said:
“The Government is tackling illegal immigration and the harm it causes by removing those with no right to be in the UK.
“We continue to work with law enforcement agencies to tackle illegal migration in all its forms. Our New Plan for Immigration will fix the broken system; making it fair to those in genuine need and firm on those who seek to abuse it.”
It has been confirmed that no arrests were made as a result of today’s Police-led visit.

Good, we are keeping half the worlds charity cases now, and whilst the do gooders will argue that ‘at least they are working’ they are still going to end up having a house, costing 100’s of K, having many children all wanting free education, free NHS and, often the second generation do not work, so likely we will be keeping or worse, jailing them at our expense.

Despite seeing our finest and even our Capital reduced to a no-go area in many quarters, the BBC news fed gullible can STILL see no harm in having such unvetted never ending line of illegal enterants to this once safe country.
We have had gangs, not a person or one gang, but gangs of pedo rapists targeting only white British children, and if our own British children being targeted by such people is not enough to make people see that a cheap but ‘hard working’ car wash employee is not worth the risk of importing unknown beings, then NOTHING ever will.
I would much prefer LEGAL immigrants, who are willing to work get the benefits. It’s better than the dole sponges who are not willing to work and expecting everything on a silver spoon

Although I don’t agree with illegal immigrants the only good thing is at least the people there actually working and hopefully paying tax !
No arrests made so presumably everything was above board? Did not go into a flat when there was a murder but will parade outside here to give the impression they are working hard tackling crime, but only crime that takes money out of the pockets of the government.
Just takes one bigot to give these hardworking people a bad day. Leave these guys alone, just want to make an honest living. Maybe visit the building sites and look at how many ‘British’ workers are working and claiming benefits at the same time.
Even IF building sites have British workers claiming benefits, ‘they’ are already here anyway, so by default they will be living in a house working or not, they will be having their children educated and treated for free anyway, working or not on the sly.
NOT so newcomers, for IF they never came we would not be paying for a roof, and health care and education etc, so it is far better a Brit works on the sly as being here anyway means a new house is not needed to be built, or taken, and their offspring are not ‘adding’ to the costs if dad works on the sly, as IF he didn’t work and stayed home they would be kept fully anyway.
