Hovertravel are now full supporters of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice, the Isle of Wight’s only hospice. Hovertravel are working with the Hospice to generate even more walkers for the annual Walk the Wight event, which takes place on 12th May.
Hovertravel have added extra services to their timetable on the 12th, in order to bring walkers over from the mainland. Earlier services will run at 0630,0700, 0730 and 0830. Walk the Wight customers can receive a 50% discount on adult & child singles, period returns and day returns for the event using the promo code WTW13 For walker plus 1.
Travel Dates for the discounts can be between 11th and 13th May. The discount is validated on presentation of a walk number, failure to show the walk number will invalidate the discount.
As well as providing extra services Hovertravel staff have registered themselves in a team called HoverWalkers, and management have confirmed a day off work for the team.
Walk the Wight is the Hospice’s biggest fundraising event of the year, with up to 12,000 people taking part across the four different walks and through the Schools Walk the Wight scheme.
