Island Roads’ fleet of gritters are to head out onto the roads tomorrow morning (Saturday). A single gritting run will commence in the early hours with gritting lorries set to leave the Stag Lane depot at around 05:00. This gritting run seems slightly surprising given not only the current weather but the forecast for the next few days. Nevertheless, Island Roads has urged those using the road network to take care.
