Island Roads will once again be deploying its gritters across the Isle of Wight overnight due to the forecast temperatures.
The decision has been taken to commence a full gritting run at 03:00 tomorrow morning (Friday).
The gritters were last deployed during the early hours of this morning (Thursday), as previously reported by Island Echo.
Motorists are being reminded to drive according to the conditions.
Local forecasters IW Met Service predict another clear night – which adds to the chances of frost and ice – with a low of around 3c, but an increased wind.
