Early morning travellers using Red Funnel’s vehicle ferry service are experiencing delays this morning (Friday).
The cross-Solent operator has announced that the 06:00 departure from Southampton and the 07:30 departure from East Cowes have been cancelled due to a technical reason.
Pathetic! More staff shortages I suppose! Nationalise our ferries!

No doubt the poor staff working the ferries and at the port will have bear the brunt of disgruntled passengers. Where are the big wigs when this happens?
