Poor crew availability means that there will be a revised Red Jet timetable in operation this Saturday (8th June). The temporary timetable, brought about by the lack of staff once again, will run for 8th June only. The revised timetable is as follows:
- From Southampton: 06:40 / 07:50 / 09:00 / 10:20 / 11:30 / 12:40 / 13:50 / 15:00 / 16:10 / 17:20 / 18:30 / 19:40 / 21:05 / 22:30
- From Cowes: 07:15 / 08:25 / 09:35 / 10:55 / 12:05 / 13:15 / 14:25 / 15:35 / 16:45 / 17:55 / 19:05 / 20:15 / 21:40 / 23:05
Red Funnel has apologised for the inconvenience caused to your journey.

Apologies don’t cut the mustard anymore…..
We want a reliable service….
Surely you can recruit and train staff ?????
No they can’t because nobody wants to work for them because the so called top management are totally useless and treat their staff so badly
Every weekend now ..so pointless using RedJet anymore ..
The usual excuses, let’s hole they use these excuses on FESTIVAL weekend
Lol
Remember in every other relationship you have that sorry isn’t good enough….you have to follow that up with actions, yeah I feel like us islanders are in a tumultuous, gaslighting relationship with red funnel! Lol
No comments from ivy searle I see
It’s not even worth commenting on these stories any more. Red Funnel have pocketed the profits, built up huge debts, and now think they can get away with ‘apologies’. A bit like Sunack really.
I do hope Red Funnel, Wightlink and Hover Travel have MAJOR issues on the Festival days and BACK UP the whole of the mainland roads for hours and hours.
I also hope the same on the return from the Island and back up all of the Isle of Wight roads for hours and hours.
Maybe then someone will appreciate the situation we all have here.
We shall see.
so, you are wishing that the front line staff of all ferry companies are subjected to abuse, harrassement and stress from customers because of delays do you
I bet your one of these bone idle benefit sponging layabouts
I know people who work at the ferry terminals – they are sick to the back teeth of delays and abuse – and the last thing they need is p ricks like you wishing for them to have shi t days at work
