The main road through Newchurch is blocked tonight (Wednesday) as a result of a car crashing into a parked vehicle.
A MG ZS has collided into the rear quarter of a parked Honda Accord estate, causing damage to both vehicles.
It’s understood that 2 other vehicles have sustained damage also.
The MG has come to rest side-on across the carriageway, blocking the road.
Police are on scene and officers have closed the road between Skinners Lane and Harbours Lake Lane.
No one has been injured and no drink or drug offences have been identified.
Recovery has been arranged and the road is expected to re-open shortly.
UPDATE – The road has now reopened following recovery of the vehicle.
Not just trees and lamp post’s jumping out on unsuspecting drivers. Now the cars are at it as well!

too fast just dreadfull driving again on the island..bet no one got prosecuted…
The reality is we simply do not know at what speed this person was driving at the time … or even if they were distracted or momentarily dozed off.
