A water main has been ruptured on Lowtherville Road by a utility firm and as such, residents in the area are without supply this evening (Wednesday).
Island Echo readers have said Southern Water are aware and teams are on-site working to rectify the burst which has been caused by another utility firm currently working in the area.
Residents in nearby roads are reporting low pressure or no pressure at all.
Supplied are expected to be restored as soon as possible.
