2 generators were stolen from a rural property in the West Wight over the weekend.
The break-in occurred on Dodpitts Lane at some point between Saturday night and Sunday morning and saw numerous items taken, including the high ticket generators.
1 of the generators, a Powertech PT6500WE, had been bought as a Christmas present. A Briggs and Stratton Handy Gen 2500 (Quantum LSQ55) was also taken.
Added together, the 2 are worth around £500.
Police have been notified of the theft.
All my plant used to get a spray of paint across it in a particular colour. That way I could spot it at a distance. I have in the past pushed builders off my steps when they state they own them…only to be shown the paint spray mark.
Anyone buying high ticket priced plant should always mark them in a way only the owner would know.
That way when you spot the thieving scumbags trying to sell or use them you can give them a real British Standard bunch of 5s
