The Island’s only body shop store is to close its doors for the final time tomorrow (Wednesday). As previously reported by Island Echo, FRP Advisory was appointed by owner Aurelius to oversee the administration process, which relates to the UK arm of the brand, back in February. The Body Shop has more than 200 shops across the UK, including the Newport branch on High Street, but a total of 75 are to close. It is unclear as to the exact number of staff that will be made redundant as a result of the closure. The Body Shop on Newport High Street will be shut permanently after the close of play tomorrow (13th March).

Please leave the doors open to let the smells dissipate. As an asthma suffer I used to hold my breath and rush past. Shame for all the staff and regular customers though.
Fear not, soon smell of weed, unwashed bodies as flats replace shops, filled with those living off others, smoking and dealing drugs, and being vile.
Likely holding your breath will be replaced by holding your wallet tightly as you hobble on by very soon.

from 2020…they decided to bad mouth JK Rowling for standing up for womens rights and the right to be referred to as women and not some object that menstruates.
guess all that dumb woke stance backfired – as JK is doing well and Body Shop has folded.
