Black Eyed Peas, All Saints, Natasha Bedingfield, Ella Henderson and Razorlight have all been added to the Isle of Wight Festival line-up for 2020, it has been announced this afternoon (Friday).
The second announcement showcases the festival’s diversity when it comes to genre, with something for everyone across the weekend.
Black Eyed Peas were blurring genre lines long before it became commonplace, pioneering an unprecedented global hybrid of hip-hop, pop, electro, and world as early as 1995. The Los Angeles trio – will.i.am, Apl.de.ap and Taboo – maximise the momentum of a legendary career earmarked by making history, breaking records, and raising the bar yet again in 2020 and beyond.
Girl band royalty All Saints also join the line-up, bringing with them era-defining classics such as Never Ever, I Know Where It’s At and Pure Shores. One of the most successful pop groups of the 90s, they sold over 12 million records worldwide, had two multi-platinum albums, won BRIT Awards and multiple Number 1 singles. The four-piece are sure to deliver a set that celebrates their 20+ years of pop stardom.
Singer-songwriter Ella Henderson has had an incredible career thus far, turning sixth place on The X Factor into worldwide smash Ghost and collaborations with Sigala (We Got Love) and Jax Jones (This Is Real) – her career has gone from strength to strength. With a new album currently in the works, she joins the line-up and aims to deliver the ultimate summer vibe.

Friday: You Me At Six, LONA, Joy Crookes, The Lathums, Donna Missal, Rebecca Hurn
Saturday: All Saints, Lightning Seeds, Roachford, Rothwell, Asylums, Sam Feldt (LIVE), Maxïmo Park, Ella Henderson, Lyra, Dylan John Thomas
Sunday: Black Eyed Peas, James Vincent McMorrow, Seasick Steve, Megan McKenna, Razorlight, New Rules, Balcony
These acts join previously announced 2020 headliners including Lionel Richie, Lewis Capaldi, Snow Patrol, Chemical Brothers and Duran Duran (UK festival exclusive).

The line up this year is far better than last year. But sadly, it won’t happen. The Corona Virus will hit the UK hard and events like the festival will be banned. I shall sell my tickets on Wightbay tomorrow.
John Gidds, can now promise the Stones, Oasis, anyone he likes, but imo, be unlikely to see any acts this year as the virus if it gets to the Island will wipe out many of the elderly inhabitants. The risk is not worth it for a few days of joy. Care for others.
