Richard Dixcey, owner of Dixcey Landscapes, kindly donated his time and materials for free to make a garden for the Nurture Provision at The Bay CE School.
The Nurture Provision is accessed by some of The Bay CE School’s pupils. The enclosed garden has a playhouse, raised flower beds, a wood chip area and a digger area, as well as a calm space with a cosy mat for reading and relaxing.
Mrs Steph Dunford, SENDCO said
“We are delighted that Richard was so generous in making a garden for our Nurture Provision. The children absolutely love it; it is the perfect space for them to play, let off some energy and take part in sensory activities.”
Richard Dixcey said
“I am so pleased that we were able to help provide an outside space for the children. It was lovely to come in and see them enjoying it.”
This isn’t the first time that Dixcey Landscapes have helped out The Bay CE School. It was back in January 2023 that a handmade wooden pirate ship was unveiled in the playground at the school on Winchester Park Road.

Well done to Dixcey Landscapes, it would be
nice if other island Companies done similar good
deeds.
Worst ‘pirate ship’ ever. A few planks of wood.
