Omg not again more idiots driving
Do you know for sure it’s the driver’s fault, or are you making a wild assumption with absolutely no knowledge of what happened at all.
Hahahaha very funny
That’s not been confirmed has it, I’ve seen people just step out before without looking.
How do you know? Could have been someone who stepped out without looking. No use speculating without knowing the FACTS.
It is the duty of every driver, to be aware of pedestrians crossing the road, even if the traffic lights for the driver are on green, and particularly when turning into another road. It is not illegal for pedestrians to cross against a red light.
Sadly these type of accidents are becoming very common recently.
Cut speed.
Make Roads safer for everyone.
Too many people just step out without looking first as they think they have the right of way but anyone with a brain cell would stop look and listen first.
And then you have the people opening car doors on narrow highstreets eithout looking
Hear we go again, bloody van drivers have no respect for anyone…..
Before you start accusing someone get your facts right first and where you at the scene of the incident
Why blame the vehicle driver without any indication that it is his fault.
Pedestrians, especially around Newport are like bloody lemmings who think its their right to cross a road and that all moving traffic will give way, its a regular occurrence now.
When ever I go throw the town the pedestrians, of all ages, ignore the signals and just walk across the road. I have stood waiting for the green man and have had streams of people just crossing the road ignoring the rules.
As hubby was driving out there was an old lady who had driven through the no entrance. He wound down his window to tell her that she had driven through a no entry and that the entrance was now cordoned off. She just said “yes I know that’s why I am driving this way”.!!!!! Honestly mostly only on the Island. She was set on getting to where she had set out to visit ie morrisons and she wasn’t about to be stopped. No thought that she could hv been the cause of a second accident
Oh look, another one in Newport centre. And when I say as a petite women I don’t feel comfortable riding a bicycle there among cars so I don’t go there often for shopping, I get plenty of thumbs down here because it feels so safe from a perspective of all those going everywhere in their 2000kg steel armor ;)))
Well it’s not exactly a blind corner is it ??
It stopped me getting in to the shop to get my 40 B&H, 2 litres of white lightening & my lucky dip ticket for Saturday
