Police and paramedics are attending a road traffic collision between Ventnor and Whitwell this afternoon (Thursday).
A Suzuki 4×4 has rolled and come to rest on its side close to St Lawrence Shute.
No other vehicles are thought to be involved at this stage.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 14:30.
UPDATE @ 15:22 – A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary has said:
“We were called at 2.23pm to reports of a single vehicle collision on Whitwell Road.
“A Suzuki Grand Vitara had overturned.
“Closures are currently in place at Hill Cliff Road and Brick Lane”.

Thankfully, the driver has escaped injury.
The road is expected to re-open once recovery has taken place.
