Police on the Isle of Wight have arrested 2 people in connection with an ongoing investigation into thefts from properties in Shorwell.
A large number of officers descended on Cranleigh Gardens, Northwood at around 10:00 this morning (Friday). It’s at a residential address that Police arrested a 19-year-old man and a 21-year-old man on suspicion of being involved in burglary.
As previously reported by Island Echo, Hampshire Constabulary have been investigating a number of incidents in rural parts of the Isle of Wight.
The arrested pair have been taken to Newport Police Station for questioning. They remain in custody at this time.
