Police on the Isle of Wight are reminding local residents to keep sheds and outbuildings securely locked following 2 burglaries in Shorwell.
The latest in a recent spate of rural crime occurred in the Main Road/Farriers Way area of Shorwell overnight on 17th February.
According to Hampshire Constabulary, a chainsaw and a radio were taken.
Island Echo understands that a number of other powertools were taken from another rural property on the Isle of Wight that night.
