A man and a woman have been detained by Police following a disturbance in Cowes tonight (Friday), which has seen a large number of Police respond to the Park Road area.
The incident has taken place on the corner of Park Road and Victoria Road with at least 6 Police vehicles, an ambulance and an operational commander all on scene.
An eyewitness has told Island Echo that lots of shouting could be heard shortly before the emergency service’s arrival at around 20:20.
The window of a property has been smashed from the inside.
1 person is thought to have been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital, although the specific details of this breaking news incident have not yet been confirmed.
Investigations into the incident are continuing at the scene with Police maintaining a presence outside the property.
