A 16-year-old boy from Ryde has been arrested, questioned and bailed by Police on suspicion of assault following an incident in the same town in which a 46-year-old man sustained cuts and swelling.
As previously reported by Island Echo, a 46-year-old man was walking along Adelaide Place, Ryde when he was approached by a group of 4 men at around 19:10 on Wednesday 13th April. He was assaulted, leaving him with swelling to his face, damage to his teeth and a cut to his head.
Detectives investigating the incident have now arrested and bailed a 16-year-old male in connection with the incident. He has been bailed until Tuesday 10th May.
