Future Works – an event that gives young people aged 16-30 an opportunity to meet others in the creative industries, make connections, and start collaborating – is holding its 4th meet at Strings in Newport on 7th November.
Each Future Works event – delivered by Brave Island, Platform One and IW Creative Network – features exciting guests from all areas of the creative industries, to discuss different topics around starting a creative career. November’s event will focus on events, festivals, and performance, so attendees will hear from actor and screenwriter Joe Bone, Creative Projects Assistant at Ventnor Exchange Kai Davies, and Vicky Wells, Creative Director from Wonderfell Theatre Company.
After a panel discussion, there will be plenty of time for attendees to meet new people, make connections, and start collaborating, all within the relaxing space of Strings Bar & Venue accompanied by live DJing.
So… want to start a band but don’t know a drummer? Want to write a play but don’t know any actors? Maybe you want to film a showreel but don’t know a filmmaker? Then make sure to pop along to Future Works! Book your FREE ticket at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/futureworks.
