A 41-year-old man from Yarmouth has been arrested on suspicion of using to violence to secure entry after he was spotted whilst allegedly attempting to enter a recruitment firm in Newport earlier today (Monday 8th April). Officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called at 09:43 this morning to a report that a man was trying to break in to Pertemps in The Apex, Newport. Police attended and arrested a 41-year-old man from Yarmouth on suspicion of common assault and using violence to secure entry to premises. The arrested male remains in custody.
