Cowes Sports will be looking to get back to winning ways this afternoon (Saturday) when they welcome Laverstock and Ford to Westwood Park.

Following a hard-fought draw away at Ash United on Thursday, Newport will be looking to dispatch 18th-placed Frimley Green who visit Beatrice Avenue this afternoon. 
Goals from Henry West, Martin McDonaugh and an own-goal ensured Newport left the Smurfit Kappa Stadium with a point. In the reverse fixture against Frimley, Port – who currently sit in 13th position – won 2-0 courtesy of goals from Jordan Browne and Michael Thompsett. Elsewhere in Wessex Division One, East Cowes Vics fans will be hoping their team can make it 4 wins in a row when they travel to relegation threatened New Milton Town this afternoon. Vics – who have played 33 games – occupy the final play-off spot in Division One and have a 10-point cushion over the team directly below them, Cove. In the reverse fixture played at Beatrice Avenue back in February, the scores were level at 1-1 until the 92nd minute when Brad Young scored, breaking New Milton hearts.
