Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of criminal damage in Ryde earlier this month (Tuesday 18th November).
It was reported to Police that between 16:00 and 16:30 a 34-year-old woman has attended Rocket Ronnie’s, on the Esplanade in Ryde, and made threats towards a female member of the public.
She has then allegedly gone on to exit Rocket Ronnie’s and caused damage to a vehicle, an act which Police believe was witnessed by 2 men outside the premises.
It was subsequently reported to Police that during this incident the same woman has attended The Veteran on the Esplanade in Ryde where she has reportedly argued with a member of the public and picked up and smashed a glass outside of the venue.
As part of the investigation into the circumstances of this incident, a 34-year-old woman from Ventnor has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property valued under £500 and assaulting a constable in the execution of his/her duty.
She has been bailed with conditions until Wednesday 18th February whilst enquiries continue.

“We would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened, including the two men we believe witnessed the woman damaging a vehicle outside of Rocket Ronnie’s.
