So did the car not stop? Why did the ambulance crew not get details? Why did police not respond? Or did the police respond? Why did nobody at the scene get the drivers details? Or did they get details but police just want dash camera footage as well? So little information
Maybe they do know the identity of the driver, they just want witnesses for the events.
It doesn’t help that, judging by the photograph, the iow council have allowed the painted white lines to degrade.
Penny pinching .
The markings are perfectly clear, the driver should have stopped after realising that he/she had hit a person unless he/she had something to hide and was afraid of being tested! I suspect that speed was an issue.
The driver did stop, and was with the lady for quite a whole after! Don’t make assumptions…
The belisha beacons are obvious to anyone.
Speeding is the problem if vehicles were not driving
too fast, they could stop.
I see vehicles on a daily basis driving up
Beachfield Road, Sandown at 50mph+
IW Council need to place speed humps etc
IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO SLOW NUMPTY’S DOWN WHO DRIVE TOO
FAST!
So if I throw a pencil across a room you will immediately know the speed it was travelling?
50 MPH ?
It is what Island Numpty’s do
SPEED
Bit late to ask for dash cam footage over a week later as by now it will be overwritten.
