Adverse weather conditions have resulted in the suspension of Hovertravel’s service this morning (Sunday).
Strong gusts of wind are hitting the Solent at the moment alongside downpours of rain.
Hovertravel have suspended their Ryde to Southsea service for the time being with an update due at 10:45.
Thankfully, no other travel providers are currently being affected by the weather front.
UPDATE @ 13:00 – Hovertravel services are to resume at 13:15 from Ryde and 13:30 from Southsea.
UPDATE @ 15:40 – Due to the windy conditions, Hovertravel have once again suspended their cross-Solent service. An update will be provided at 16:30.
UPDATE @ 16:00 – Wightlink are advising of 30 minute delays on their Yarmouth-Lymington service this afternoon.
UPDATE @ 21:20 – Hovertravel services will resume as normal tomorrow morning.
Wightlink are now operating to timetable.
