Cross-Solent travel is once again being hit by adverse weather conditions, but mechanical issues are also adding to the disruption today (Thursday).
Hovertravel have been forced to suspend their Ryde to Southsea service until further notice as a result of the strong winds that are battering the Solent.
An update is expected at 08:00 but with no guarantee that services will resume at that point.
Mwanwhile at Fishbourne, Wightlink are warning of delays of 45 minutes on their Fishbourne-Portsmouth car ferry service.
A mechanical issue with one of the ferries earlier this morning is having a knock on effect to the service.
